NEWIC 2026 Symposium

On April 23rd, the Northeast Wisconsin Immunization Coalition (NEWIC) proudly hosted Unity for Immunity, a symposium held at the Fox Club at the Timber Rattlers Stadium. The event brought together healthcare professionals, students, and community partners from across Northeast Wisconsin to strengthen collaboration and advance immunization efforts throughout our region.
The evening was both educational and inspiring, featuring presentations from an outstanding group of speakers:

Dr. Paul Hunter
Serese Marotta from Vaccinate Your Family, who courageously shared her family’s personal experience with a vaccine-preventable disease that tragically took the life of her young son.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all of our speakers and vendors for sharing their time, expertise, and passion with attendees. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, smiles, and even a few tears — all reminding us why this work is so important.
Most importantly, we hope everyone who attended walked away feeling inspired, connected, and empowered with new knowledge to support immunization efforts within their communities.
